ICPC – Ethics & Integrity Compliance Scorecard Of MDAs 2022
July 10, 2023
The Executive Chairman, National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, High Chief Richard Onwuka Egbule, has handed over the leadership of the National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission to Mr. Ekpo Nta Esq, the Commissioner for Compensation in the Commission as the Ag. Chairman of the Commission, having completed his statutory second term as the Executive Chairman of the Commission.
High Chief Egbule, while handing over to Ekpo Nta, described his tenure as historic, being the first to complete two terms as the Executive Chairman of the Commission. He was also the first and the only staff of the Commission from inception in 1992 that rose to that position.
He called on staff of the Commission to get acquainted with the Act establishing the Commission. This, according to him, will enable them to know the enormous contributions and importance of the Commission to the development of the Federal Public Service and the Nigerian economy.
Responding, Ekpo Nta Esq, commended High Chief Egbule for his achievements in streamlining the nation’s salary administration and that anybody taking over from High Chief Egbule must be stepping into a big shoe.
Ekpo Nta, Esq who had been the Executive Chairman, Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Offences Commission, ICPC in the past, urged the staff of the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission to continue to uphold legacies of hard work, modesty, and humility left behind by Egbule. He prayed to God to grant High Chief Egbule success in his future endeavor.
