SALARY INSPECTION AND PRODUCTIVITY MEASUREMENT AND IMPROVEMENT SCHEME(PMIS) IN NIGERIA EMBASSY, BERLIN, GERMANY (8th – 13th November2023)

The Commission undertook a salary inspection and PMIS with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Nigeria Embassy in Berlin, Germany between 8^th and 13^th November, 2023.

Staff of the Embassy weretrained on Goal Setting and goal getting for improvingtheir productivity.

Participants were trained on the key concepts of goal setting such as:

• What is Goal?

Goal setting is the process of identifying something that you want to accomplish and establishing measurable goals and time frames. Having goals will help in focusing attention on important things. It allows one to create a vision of how to deliver desirable and quality service that will increase citizen satisfaction and publictrust. When we have a goal, we tend to increase the amount of time and effort we spend on an activity and develop effective strategies to achieve that goal.

The team also has interactive sessions on discussing the concept of productivity and how it can be improved with case studies.

The NSIWC team include Barr. Ekpo Nta, Chairman/CEO (NSIWC), Mr Babatunde Oresanya, Mrs Margaret Johnson and Mr Adekunle Falade.Two staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also part of the team and they are Amb. Patrick Imologhome and Mr. Dike Agbaghigba.
