Head (Procurment Unit)
Dr. Theophilus, Enejoh Adofu
Dr. Theophilus Enejoh Adofu was appointed as the head of the Procurement Unit of the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission on 6th June 2008. Before then, he served as the head of the Budget Division in the Finance and Accounts Department of the Commission.
Dr. T.E. Adofu attended Anglican Primary School, Dekina, Kogi State, where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate in 1982. He proceeded to Government Second School, Dekina, Kogi State, where he obtained the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) in 1987.
Dr. T.E. Adofu obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (1998), a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (2003), and also a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy (2009), all earned at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. In 2023, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Business Administration at the NasSarawa State University, Keffi.
After his participation in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme at the Central Bank of Nigeria, Abeokuta Branch, Ogun State, in the 1998/1999 service year, he was employed by the Federal Civil Service Commission in February 2001 and posted to the Office of the Auditor General For the Federation as Auditor II (GL 8). Subsequently, he transferred his service to the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission as Principal Budget Officer (GL 12) in March 2008. He is currently a Deputy Director and the head of the Procurement Unit in the Commission.
He holds the membership of both the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN), respectively.
Born on the 3rd February 1973, he is happily married to Grace Unenwa Adofu, and the union is blessed with children.
Dr. T.E. Adofu hails from Olowa in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
